Location and Accessibility
Donut Monster is perfectly situated in one of Milwaukee's most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods: the Historic Third Ward. The address is 316 N Milwaukee St, Milwaukee, WI 53202, USA. This centralized location makes it an ideal stop for those working downtown, exploring the art galleries and boutiques of the Third Ward, or simply seeking a quick bite before a busy day. Being in the heart of a major metropolitan area means accessibility is excellent for multiple modes of transport. What is Worth Choosing
For the discerning Wisconsin palate, what makes
The dual offerings are a major strength: you don't have to choose between a sweet indulgence and a savory, satisfying meal. The donuts themselves, such as the praised Maple Bacon or the classic Glazed, often utilize a brioche-style dough that provides a superior, fluffier texture compared to standard donuts. Furthermore, their breakfast/brunch sandwiches, built on house-made English Muffins with locally-sourced cheese and butter, are a standout feature that sets them apart from typical donut shops. These hearty options, like the Bacon, Egg & Cheese or the unique "Benedictish," make Donut Monster a full-service breakfast destination, not just a dessert spot.
Crucially, the shop's commitment to "Great coffee" cannot be overstated. In a region that values a strong morning brew, Donut Monster offers everything from a solid Drip Coffee to innovative options like the Japanese Caramel Nitro Latte, ensuring your favorite donut or sandwich is perfectly complemented by a high-quality, artisanal drink.
In essence, Donut Monster is worth choosing for the local patron because it embodies the best of the Wisconsin food scene: quality, creativity, and a connection to local ingredients, all within the casual and vibrant setting of the Third Ward. It’s an ideal stop for both a quick, decadent treat and a full, high-quality breakfast, securing its spot as a beloved local gem.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I discovered Donut Monster in the Third Ward through the GoodieBag app and it was such a great find! For about $13, I got a generous assortment of donuts — I think there were around 13 in total. They all looked fresh and clearly made in-house.My personal favorites were the maple bacon and the classic glazed — both were fantastic. I brought the rest to work and didn’t get a chance to try them all myself, but my coworkers raved about how delicious they were.Overall, this was such a fun and affordable way to experience Donut Monster, and I’ll definitely be stopping by again next time I’m in the area.
August 20 · Liz AlvarezA bit over priced, the place ots3lf was not very much to look at. They had to go to the basement to go get a bottle water for purchase. The Donuts looked amazing but didn't even taste fresh. They seem to ha e sat there all day. Like maybe not day old, but I didn't taste all that. They didn't have any plain donuts, and they all had frosting or sugar on top. They were a bit overly sweet. It wasn't terrible it wasn't good. It was "meh" to say the least.2 out of 5 stars, more lik 1.5. I'm being generous. My kids didn't even like them.
April 16 · Ayla VillalobosYummy donuts. We got 5 for about $16 and it was gone in 3 minutes. My 1 year old literally had 3. We loved the cinnamon toast and brown butter the most. The gingerbread man is cute but a little messy with the filling. Maple bacon tastes more sophisticated than others. All in all very delicious donuts.
December 29 · Vivian S.Fun place, fun name ; ) Our kids really enjoyed and staff were friendly. Great quick stop on a Friday...Decor was a bit lacking but more a function of the shared space
August 23 · E DMy family just stopped here for the first time and we loved the donuts! We tried a variety of flavors and they were all great. Fairly priced and in a great location.
