★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1⭐️ delicious hidden gem! must try 🎉what we got:⭐️ rum raisin snail (our favorite!!)- matcha “croissant” (the most beautiful, flakey crust in a nontraditional croissant form)- croissant (gorgeous honeycomb crumb)After trying the amazing pizza at High Street (dough made fresh daily!), I was fortunate enough to stop in for some sweet treats. Tucked away, it was almost easy to walk by with the door being so unassuming but once you step inside, you’re greeted with the smell of fresh baked goods, yum!!The display was gorgeous and I can’t wait to go back and try the bread and the recommended crowd favorite: kouign amann.
June 19 · hungry angelaI absolutely love it here. Great breads, reasonable prices for such high quality. The woman working at the counter is always so sweet! Dare I say, the best croissant in Philadelphia? I Pavlov’d myself into grabbing a loaf or a treat everytime I need to go to Jefferson. So glad this spot it close by!

July 23 · C RFirst, I definitely want to give this place another shot, but my first visit was disappointing.I tried their almond and raisin pastry while waiting for my breakfast sandwich. It was a very humid day, which does make pastries lose their crisp. It was also around 9:30am so they’d probably been sitting out for a few hours at least. Given the circumstances, I can forgive the slightly stale texture. My bigger complaint is the minimal filling and lack of flavor. There were about 4 raisins and maybe a tablespoon of almond paste. My “Forager” sandwich with Swiss,, kale, and mushrooms was ready in about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, I had to rush out for a meeting and didn’t get around to eating it until about 45 minutes later. By that time, the bottom bun had soaked through with moisture from the veggies. But the real issue was the flavor. The creamy dressing had a very sharp flavor, maybe tahini?, and there was too much of it. For me, it wasn’t a good match with the Swiss. The kale was chewy and in big chunks that made for difficult eating.Folks rave about their breads so I may go back for lunch sometime, but this particular visit was a let down.
June 27 · Christopher SantantasioMuch of their food is great, but why is it all burnt? Don't believe the pictures, 90% of the time I go in and the bread and pastries are black at the edges. I've asked about it and they say it is because people like it crispy. Ok. Sure. But the edges of everything are blackened. Can't they take a few out early for people who don't like the taste of char. When it isn't burnt, it tastes good.
