★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Such an awesome new bakery featuring local ingredients! I enjoyed some fresh baked biscuits and strawberry butter. Also got some frozen, ready to bake biscuits for home. Can’t wait!
April 27 · Isabella ChamberlainI've been picking up biscuits and sweets from Hippos and Hashbrowns for years, and they finally have their own shop! Every event I bring their biscuits results in a steam of requests for where I got these delicious biscuits from. Their frozen section has always been my favorite, allowing me to make a few biscuits in demand throughout the month.
May 12 · Brian HI ran into Hippos and Hashbrowns today at an artisan market in Dallas. I purchased some of her Pecan cookies and OMG. They were absolutely amazing! It’s been a LONG time since I’ve enjoyed a cookie so much! Perfect flavor and texture! I live quite a ways away, but I may have to make a run into Dallas just for some more of these cookies! She also had some ADORABLE cookie decorating kits with cookies that looked considerably better than the ones I normally see in kits from other bakers. Definitely looking forward to grabbing a couple of those before Christmas!
November 30 · Megan HowellI've been going to Hippos and Hashbrowns since they opened, and have had my favorites (their blueberry muffin has the best texture of anywhere I have tried, and the strawberry biscuits are heavenly!)... but today I had their peach gallette, and I hate to risk not being able to get it again by telling everyone, but it was WONDERFUL! The perfect amount of filling and a crispy and chewy crust! I'm going to get up earlier to make sure I get some next week.Service is always great and everyone has a smile. This is my favorite neighborhood bakery!
June 29 · Corinne MinshewI purchased a couple of custom DIY cookie decorating kits for my daughter’s 8th birthday. The sugar cookies and the frosting were DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to go back to try out more tasty treats.
