I was able to secure one and while they were decent, I wouldn't go out of my way to get them again. All the bagels had seasonings on both sides and a defined crust but they looked just a touch underbaked. When I ripped these bagels open, lots of gluten development could be seen but somehow the texture was lacking. It wasn't not as chewy or bouncy as I’d like and frankly slightly dry. They also felt a bit undersalted to me. It looks like Chicago’s bagel scene still has a long way to go before it catches up to New York’s.
