★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am writing this review out of sheer frustration and disappointment. For a premium price, one expects a premium product. From the outside, it looked beautiful. But the moment we cut into it, the problem was immediately obvious: there was almost no mango. The description and photos led us to believe it would be bursting with fresh, ripe mango chunks. Instead, we found a scant few, tiny, thin slivers of fruit scattered sparsely throughout the entire cake. The vast majority of it was just layers of plain whipped cream and sponge cake.To call this a "Mango Cake" is incredibly misleading. It was a whipped cream cake with a hint of mango.Feeling cheated given the exorbitant cost, I contacted the store. I explained the issue calmly and provided pictures clearly showing the lack of fruit. Their response was shocking and utterly inflexible. The manager simply stated, "that's how the cake is made,$50 is the most that they could refund" and dismissed my complaint entirely. They took no accountability for a product that blatantly failed to meet its description.Spending $169 on a cake is a luxury, and it should be a flawless experience. This was a complete waste of money.Save your money and go elsewhere. I would never recommend this store to anyone. The poor quality of the product is only matched by the appalling lack of customer service.
September 03 · Jennifer LuoAmazing place to get pastries, cake, drinks in the Bellevue area. Super friendly service and they have a wide range of cakes, small and large. They also have a baking class as well as the opportunity to customize your own cake. The cake and trunks were not too sweet, which is always a plus. Highly recommend and I would come back.
June 15 · Alex NguyenThe photos don't do this cafe justice, it is super cozy & cute and there's plenty of seating and parking. I tried a sesame cake, iced sesame latte. The latte I got with 25% sweetness and it was the perfect sweetness, so I'm scared to imagine what is 100% sweet, lol. The sesame cake was also absolutely delicious. I was only going to eat half of it at first... But it was so good I finished it, spongey, soft, and not too sweet! My only concern was that the singular drink had me waiting 10+ minutes, and there was only me and one other customer. But overall would definitely be back!
April 24 · Ya-Wei WangWhat a cute spot in a corner. Definitely good for one-on-ones and not suited for large parties. Their cakes are very cute and they have a lot of drink and snack offerings.Their drinks are very sweet originally so make sure to reduce sweetness if you need.
July 08 · Ann TsengCafe looks good and had lots of cute deco, but that’s all for the positives.Crepe cake texture was tough and wasn’t buttery and flaky.Mango pomelo Sago didn’t taste right if I was going off how it typically tastes like from Cantonese restaurants, tasted overly milky and syrupy and didn’t have any mango taste. Cap also didn’t fit the cup properly and was dripping everywhere. Didn’t matter because I could only bring myself to drink a quarter of it before tossing it away.
