★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Was looking for sponge cakes and dropped into this little bakery, which had the biggest head for a sponge cake I have purchased compared to other chain bakeries in Chinatown area. We'll worth the price point and will come back when I am in the area to try other baked goods.

April 13 · Matthew ReischerThis small, no nonsense Chinese bakery has a limited selection which they make exceptionally well. The items are old school Cantonese style buns, pastries, and cookies. The prices are cheaper than other places in the area. Stand-outs are the egg tarts, old lady (lo por) cakes, and almond cookies. The buns are just okay. If you are lucky you can get some fresh out of the oven goodies.
September 17 · Erica JNo-frill Chinese bakery tucked away on Eldridge selling delicious freshly baked eggs tarts, sponge cake, sweet and savory bread, and traditional filled-pastries like moon cake, wife cake, and egg yolk cake. Cash only.
March 03 · Ina LiA few years ago I was on way back from a grocery run to Chinatown when I dipped into this hole in the wall bakery for a quick coffee and pastry, has since become my Chinatown bakery of choice. The palmiers aka elephant ears, wife cakes and almond cookies are some of the best I've had! Please be aware that Chinese culture is stoic which can come off as rudeness to those not accustomed or aware of it, so please do not expect to receive the "Starbucks smile and service" Thank you.
