La Central Bakery Restaurant Introduce
Introduction / Overview

It represents a long-standing commitment to offering a variety of food options, from sweet Mexican treats to hearty meals.
La Central Bakery Restaurant is primarily known for its dual offering. On one hand, it’s a dedicated spot for Mexican sweet bread (or pan dulce), which is a beloved staple for many Californian households. Customers often visit specifically to purchase a selection of these traditional baked goods. On the other hand, it operates as a full-service eatery, offering items like sandwiches and other prepared foods, catering to those who need a satisfying meal beyond just a quick snack.
The enduring presence of La Central Bakery Restaurant in the same location for a significant period speaks to its importance within the local 90063 area. This deep history ensures it remains a reference point and a familiar name for long-time residents. The business aims to facilitate a quick visit for customers on the go, making it convenient for daily routines, whether you're starting your morning with a fresh pastry and coffee or picking up lunch on your break.
While the business has strong historical ties and a clear core offering, some recent customer feedback indicates that the variety and quality of the sweet bread may fluctuate, and service efficiency can sometimes be a challenge. However, the foundational service—offering a mix of baked goods and prepared restaurant items—remains its unique selling proposition. It is an accessible establishment, accommodating guests with a wheelchair accessible entrance and practical payment options, making it a viable and convenient option for a broad range of patrons across the California region.

La Central Bakery Restaurant Reviews
bolillospan dulcemexicanbarbacoasweet bread
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Used to be one of the best bakeries. Now there's little to no variety of sweet bread. You have to wait for the clerk to decide to stop doing whatever they're doing in the back so they can serve yo/charge you. I had an order and went to pick up and they were CLOSED already even though it wasn't even closing time yet. It's really going downward now as a business. Bread is flavorless, small, dry and overpriced
March 01 · J AguilarLa Central Bakery restaurant have been in the same location for many years since I can remember. Often times I go there to buy Mexican sweet bread and other items they sell there. It also a restaurant serving sandwiches and other items at the Bakery/restaurant.
January 17 · Sergio Zermenofirst time visiting and eating the bread really very delicious
August 13 · LisLocated between N. Eastman Avenue and N Rowan Ave on 1st St. Sweet bread and decently sized "bolillos" (aka french roll/baguettes) are found at this location. The baguettes are made in a way that remind wife and I the baguettes from Ecatepec, Mexico (located in the state of Mexico).A beautiful reminder of Mexico and its sweet offerings. Street parking is available. A bit difficult during morning drop off and afternoon pick up of kids (right across the street).Thank you and God bless.
April 04 · Moses SotoI go in there Daily and every time the bread is exquisite and delicious, especially " la rebanada de mantequilla" and the " conchas" too. So soft and full of flavor.
