May 03 · Christopher BrandtA bakery full of options, I simply couldn't decide which breads to choose.- All the bread looked fresh!- The prices are reasonable considering the high price of EVERYTHING, as we can all see.- They had a wide variety of pastries ready. Prices, in my opinion, were the same as elsewhere.- The girl who served me was very friendly.- When I was there, two other customers arrived within about 5 minutes, who seemed to be regulars there.- All the bread I bought was delicious, and the donut was amazing! It was super fluffy!- I brought teleras and bilillos, and they were also fresh.- The conchas were super soft. I made one when I got home on the griddle with a little butter and Nutella inside... IT WAS SUPER!- The chocolate concha has a hint of cinnamon, which made it very unique and delicious!- I bought a kiss, and oddly enough, it had raisins in the bread… which was nice because when you eat it, the bread gives you a taste of something more than just bread.Although it's about 15 minutes away and I literally have a bakery less than a block away, I plan to return to La Concha.*** I once heard someone say, "It's not that something is expensive, it's that you can't afford it. Maybe what you need is to get a better job."If we can't buy something, let's go where we can afford it.***The prices at Starbucks and Dunkin' are higher than at local bakeries, and their bread isn't made in small batches.*** STARBUCKS-- banana loaf slice ~3.55- pecan loaf slice ~3.55
