★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great stop for small batch thoughtfully made bagels and bagel sandwiches. Any Bagel from here I have had was excellent. I have even froze them and rejected and they toasyed back up real nice.
May 29 · SerenaThe egg bagel is where it’s at!! The bagels here have such a nice texture and flavor, and the owner Matt was very pleasant to chat with. I went towards the end of a rainy day so he threw in a couple extra bagels for me to try. I’ve been slowly chipping away at trying bagel places in the city to find “the best bagel in Seattle” and this place is certainly a contender. I haven’t tried the bagel sandwiches yet, but certainly will next time!
November 20 · Caitlin ChristianDoing a 2-week food tour of Seattle with a couple friends and felt compelled to comment on my experience. We were greeted warmly at the door by Matt who was very helpful in taking our order. When we revealed that we were checking out popular food spots in the city, he immediately offered personal recommendations for various spots throughout the city for what we were looking for and was overall extremely friendly and welcoming. The LoxSmith bagel was absolutely phenomenal, with a generous portion of fresh lox and perfect proportion of ingredients. I enjoyed this bagel more than any of the many I have tried in New York. I will be coming back on my next trip to Seattle!
September 29 · Matthew ChingFriggginnnnn looooove this place - the “I’m from Brooklyn” bagel made me excited about eating out / picking up a sandwich in beacon hill again. It’s pricey but at the end of the day I’d pay up for the decadently topped and toasted black sesame bagels, absolute perfection of schmear and cured fish ratio. I don’t even like capers but it’s such a well curated unique combo. Also fun when the chef owner Matthew is there - makes you realize what a treat it is to eat here - he’s trained under / worked with some of the most famous sushi chefs in seattle which explains some of the awesome Japanese influence on the menu.So surprised their bagels aren’t usually bought out by the end of the afternoon like blooms!!
February 08 · Abby H.Bought a dozen bagels online, but they sold them to someone else before I got there. Got refunded, but still frustrating to make a trip out just for this order, only to walk away with nothing because they found out they could get a higher price from someone elseEdit to add, given context from owner's response: would advise any others trying to prevent food waste to order from one of the several other local bagel bakeries that participate in this service. This location does not feel obligated to honor your purchase if you go through Too Good To Go, and the waste you may be trying to prevent may be offset by the energy waste required to go to the location after they have already sold your purchase
