We particularly enjoyed the lemon and pistachio puffs, lovely filling flavor which were rich and not overly sweet. The cakes we tried (Pear Saffron and Tropical) were nice as well. Nice delivery service of order to our car and received a cake pop on the house. Would be really exciting if they expand the cream puffs flavors available in the future. It really is so so great that there are good French cream puffs available in MoCo now, Maison Nina immediately vaults to the top of the class in the county. We will most definitely be back!

I keep going back for more and have sampled over time so many different items! I highly recommend the pecan lover, vanilla cloud, cream puffs, and the squirrel's delight. Nowadays desserts have become too sweet and the flavors taste processed and overpowering. Dominique, the owner of Maison Nina, has truly mastered the art of mixing unique flavors without allowing one to overpower the other, and all the elements to perfectly compliment each other in an explosion of flavor. Both the pistachio and hazelnut cake pops are a great addition for kids birthday parties, and I personally saw how excited the young one's got when they could enjoy a cake pop that not only looks great but also tastes so delicious and moist. In the age of social media, many desserts have great presentation but unfortunately do not deliver taste wise, and are often dry and old. Maison Nina's pastries are not only presented in a sleek, simple and inviting fashion, but the taste never disappoints. This past time I ordered a pecan lover cake that served up to 10 people and it was a great treat to add to our celebration. I have had the pleasure of meeting Dominique, the owner of Maison Nina, who is a passionate, kind, gracious, young man who truly enjoys what he does as you will be able to tell when you try his desserts.
November 25 · Nadine FotyMaison Nina is a real treasure here in Kensington! Chef Dominique makes the most exquisite French pastries, treats for the eyes and the palate. Everything we've ordered--madeleines, financiers, choux cream puffs, pastries--has been absolutely superb. We especially love the blends of flavors and textures in the Chocolate Marvelous, the Sesame Cloud, and the Mojito (especially nice for those hot summer days). Chef Dominique is a true artist.

We will order more for upcoming festivities, and I am hoping to bring some cake pops for friends at work as well. 😀 I am thrilled about this new addition to the neighborhood!
November 04 · Olga NielsenI ordered one of each of the pastries for Easter dinner. We couldn't wait to get dinner out of the way so we could get to the pastries!They were heavenly! The presentation was very impressive and so beautiful, it was hard to get myself to cut into them, but I had to because everyone wanted a taste of each. I can't say which stood out as a favorite but the Sesame Cloud and the Pear Saffron were the first to go. The Mojito followed close by. Needless to say, there was none left by Monday morning.I am so pleased to have a bakery of this caliber in the DMV! My kudos to Chef Dominique who is gracious and whose passion shines!
