I’ve been wanting to try this bakery for months, mainly to see if their tea cakes compared to the ones I grew up eating. And I have to say, these were the closest to what I remember from childhood! I’ll definitely be back, not only as a customer but possibly for business endeavors down the line. A partnership could be something I’d love to explore.The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was very clean, which I really appreciated. The only downside was the parking. The lot was pretty full and a bit narrow. Luckily, I got a good spot this time, but it might be tricky on a busier day.Overall, I’m happy I finally made it in and I will absolutely be a repeat customer!

I heard about this place and it's tea cakes from my colleague. He once let me have one, and I was impressed, so on Feb 22nd, I drove from Riverside County just to come and get him a dozen box of Original Tea Cakes as his birthday surprise. I also ordered myself a Blueberry Tea Cake, Cheesecake Round, and Iced Latte. Then, I decided to get a few more little sweets to bring my nephew, niece, and sister. There were about three customers in front of me and then more people started to arrive after me. It shows this place is popular and I really liked they have tables & chairs outside and inside the establishment. If I ever go again, I want to try the Croissants and other flavored tea cakes. The three employees that day were friendly and helpful to everyone. I also want to say the restroom was clean, and I was able to use it before I got back on the long drive. Thank you for the good experience. 🫠🙏🏽

I sent the email to customer service at Martino's Bakery and I haven't received a response. I felt humiliated and threatened by the 2 cashier ladies.Martino bakery incident on 9.23.25I would like to speak to the owner of Martino, please. I was just harrased by 2 of your employees when I am simply explaining to them that they can not favor one customer over another. I mentioned that she was biased while the cousin of Samantha claimed I called her racist. I was charged 50 cents for a paper bag while the lady in front of me was not. By the way, California law charges 10 cents for a bag. It was a very threatening and uncomfortable experience, especially when my 8 year old was in presence. Samantha also mentioned that I am banned from the premises for life. I have been buying from Martino bakery for decades and for events and colleagues. I am more concerned about the threat and verbal attacks that I received today because I was with my child. No parent should go through that. I tried asking for the manager, but Samantha mentioned she's in a meeting regarding family matters.

I live out of State and took a chance (based on internet reviews) and ordered a cake to have for a special occasion while visiting Glendale/Burbank. I was pleasantly surprised. The cake was not only beautiful and exactly as I ordered it, but incredibly delicious. Exceptionally flavorful and moist cake with wonderful creamy icing, perfect consistency. Thank you Martino’s!

September 2023:Stopped by for a few tea cakes with white frosting and a birthday cup cake to go. Service was fast and friendly!Brought them home to enjoy with a cup of coffee ☕. I thought the tea cake was very tasty. Cake was light and moist. Frosting was slightly heavy but I generally don't like it overly sweet. Other people may think it's perfect!Haven't tried the 🧁 yet but it looks really good. I'm sure it's just as good as the tea cake!
