I usually don’t write reviews, but Plehn’s Bakery truly deserves one! I ordered a cake for my sister’s gender reveal, and it was absolutely perfect. The cake was so fresh and delicious, with just the right balance of sweetness. The whip was light, creamy, and simply amazing – everyone loved it! What a treat. It’s an old school bakery that is celebrating 100 years in business. The selection is great, from cakes to pies to donuts to other sweets. I went in with donuts in mind and ended up with a bear claw and a cream filled eclair. Both were excellent. I want to come back and try many other things. The service was fast and friendly. This bakery is wonderful in every possible way. But I'm only posting so that you go and buy a Coconut Kuchen. It is a coconut custard pie that is the 8th wonder of the world. This thing makes the grey days brighter, girls weak in the knees, and children experience their first love. The one problem? Bliss like this sells out almost every day by noon.
