Pronto! Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For California residents and travelers passing through the bustling San Francisco International Airport (SFO), finding quick, high-quality, and diverse food options is essential for a smooth travel day. This is where Pronto! steps in, redefining the typical airport "grab n' go" experience. Pronto! operates as an innovative, community-driven neighborhood marketplace, strategically located within the domestic terminals. Its core mission is to bring the Bay Area's vibrant culinary scene directly to SFO travelers, offering a curated selection of provisions that are packaged and ready for departure—Pronto!
Pronto! distinguishes itself by actively partnering with a rotating lineup of exciting local purveyors from San Francisco's many distinct neighborhoods. This means travelers aren't just getting generic pre-packaged airport food; they're accessing high-quality, locally sourced meals, snacks, and sundries that reflect the region's diverse and dynamic food culture. Whether you are catching an early morning flight or arriving late, Pronto! aims to be a one-stop shop for everything from a quick breakfast sandwich to a wide array of specialty coffees and healthy snacks, often filling a critical need for convenient food options, particularly on the Departures Level of the Domestic Terminals. While the airport setting inherently involves certain limitations, the concept's focus on local partnership is a unique effort to elevate the dining experience for travelers.
Location and Accessibility
The specific location detailed is 110 Domestic Terminals Departures Level, San Francisco, CA 94128, USA. This places Pronto! centrally within one of SFO's main transit hubs, likely serving Harvey Milk Terminal 1 (which handles domestic carriers like American, JetBlue, and Southwest). The primary target audience is the traveler on the go—those needing a meal or snack before boarding a flight or shortly after retrieving luggage.
As an essential airport convenience, Pronto! prioritizes accessibility. The location features a Wheelchair accessible entrance, ensuring that all travelers can easily access the marketplace. Additionally, Wheelchair accessible parking lots are available within the broader SFO terminal parking structure, a vital amenity for airport facilities. This location on the Departures Level is intended for a Quick visit experience, designed for fast transactions that enable travelers to quickly secure their food and beverages without significant delay before heading to their gate or exiting the airport.

Address: 110 Domestic Terminals Departures Level, San Francisco, CA 94128, USA (Located within SFO)

What is worth choosing
For California travelers at SFO, Pronto! is worth choosing when the primary need is speed, convenience, and access to products from recognizable, local Bay Area brands that are otherwise unavailable in a simple grab-and-go format. If you are rushing to your gate in the domestic terminals, the ability to quickly grab a Breakfast Sandwich, an El Sur Empanada, or a premium Blue Bottle cold brew can be invaluable. The commitment to sourcing provisions locally, with partners like Urban Remedy and others, means you can often find healthier, organic, or specialty options (including vegetarian wraps and vegan choices) that are a significant step up from traditional convenience store offerings.
It is important for local users to set realistic expectations for the airport environment. While the food is sourced locally and curated, the format is pre-packaged. Reviewer comments about "crazy prices" (such as $11 for a juice) and the limitations on warming up food (no microwave available) reflect the high cost and service constraints common to all airport concessions. Therefore, Pronto! is best chosen as a highly convenient solution when time is short and the priority is obtaining a quality coffee, a specialty bottled beverage, or a locally sourced, ready-to-eat meal, acknowledging that the pricing and quick-serve atmosphere are dictated by the premium airport setting. Its strong presence of high-quality coffee and packaged snack brands makes it a reliable choice for fuel before or after a flight.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Some Vegetarian options. Got an extremely mediocre tofu wrap. I only went here because there were no other food options post picking up my suitcase. Crazy prices for the actual food and drinks. ($11 for a juice!) Prices are posted by the food. Just be careful and only eat here if you have to.
July 18 · Katie Alana AttardQuite easily one of the worst experiences, I was forced to buy the pictured item after trying to check the ingredients on it and accidentally dropping the packet. The item itself was still intact and wrapped in plastic as well as the little container of sauce, but you do see a slight breakage of the plastic packaging, so was forced to buy it.It is almost impossible to eat because it doesn’t look that great and appetizing. Also, the filling is spilling over the naan. Messy and wasn’t even provided with napkins.I asked for them to warm it, but they didn’t have a microwave so I waited a bit until it cooled to room temperature . Made a mess and it was not good tasting. In fact, did upset my stomach after.I would not recommend and disappointed with the service.
December 26 · Riti PatelJust bought a couple of roles. 2 mins later tried to return since they had eggs.Since I am vegetarian .The employees mentioned they cannot return since the manager is not there. They did not try to contact the manager and they do not want to open the register again and revert the transaction .The employees kept checking their phones.i was running late for my connecting flight so had to just take the items and probably find a way to get rid of them . Please avoid this place as employees have zero motivation to help customers or be of any kind of use.
July 21 · Arvinder SinghPaid $4.54 for a tiny carton of milk (half a pint). Think the sort of thing you would put in a kindergartner’s lunch box. Has to be the most ridiculously priced thing I’ve purchased in a very long time.
August 21 · Jordan Smith“All sales subject to 5% employee benefit surcharge” says sign on the shelf, which i noticed much later.
