They advertise all over the place about their $4 kolache & glazed donut deal. If you don’t specify that you want that meal & just order a kolache & a glazed donut, you get over charged. Kind of disappointing when you have to say specific things in order to get the correct price. I usually go here 1-2 times a week with my kids & just looked at the receipt to make sure & sure enough I was over charged. I’ll start going to the donut shop around the corner again.

Been going here for years getting iced cinnamon roll(with no nuts). Now they refuse to do it for me. Read another post with similar complaint. To top it off, she was rude toward me and super dismissive. I do love Shipleys! Too bad they don't have the customer service they use to have.🙁

Really good quality donuts. Just make sure you get there by 2pm, which is their closing time. Got the glazed cinnamon sugar donut and a cinnamon twist. Both were really good and filling. I'd go back, but tey a different location.

Meh nothing special. They have a decent variety (about 1/3 sold out by 11AM). Staff were quick but not particularly friendly. $1.20 for regular round donuts. 2-3 small inside tables. I guess it comes down to what kind of donuts you like. The dough here is not very sweet, kind of dry, and dense. Not moist, not light or fluffy, not deep fried and no crunchy edges. Apple fritter had no apples and was like glazed cardboard. Sausage kolache roll had a lot of breading and a skinny hot dog in the middle. Probably the best thing here was the devil's food cake donut, which was surprisingly filled with a rich chocolate pudding (should have been called a "chocolate volcano" donut). I know some people love this place so they must be fans of less sweet and thicker, dense donuts. Glad we have lots of options in the metroplex.

Outstanding!! Treated with utmost kindness here. Kim, Mr. Li (Lee?) and Mailine made us feel like family! We will never be in the area without stopping here. They were closed when we came for nostalgia to take photos as our niece worked here looong ago & we have many memories here. Came back to have fresh Kolaches and donuts. They were AMAZING and they had plenty of my favorite flavor! Thank you so much for sharing “go happy” with us 😊
