★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very nice owners, locally owned Portuguese and Brazilian bakery store. There are lot of delicious pastries available to choose along with some groceries of Portuguese. I ended up purchasing the sweet bread with crème and coconut on top but it didn’t taste good. I should have purchased other pastries. The sweetbread I purchased was only good on top where the coconut and cream was there. Rest of this bread was bland and doughy and couldn’t eat. Staff were friendly. On my second visit, I have tried other pastries and still disappointed with the taste and quality. The breads are doughy, the apple turnover doesn’t have any butter and felt doughy. Even the creamy doughnut, the cream was sticky and not tasty. Had high expectations but very disappointed.
September 28 · Santhosh GI visited Silvana bakery looking for Pastel de nata, and calling ahead to inquire, found out they had it there. Upon entering, I was met with a warm and clean bakery, full of many baked goods that looked amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. And the Pastel de nata was perfect. I would absolutely recommend and will definitely be returning.
June 05 · Mercedes GonzalezUPDATE! This bakery is alright. They have a lot of premade items displayed in the cases. When I say premade, I'm talking about desserts for sale that were never made by them. It wouldn't be my way of running a business as I feel it's fake and sneaky, but it's not my business so... When I didn't know any better I purchased probably $10-$15 worth of items in that case. 🤢Only buy the rolls👍✔️The woodwork and casings are nice. I took some new pictures. .* I happened to look at my receipt and noticed I was charged $3 for a lemon square. I did not purchase a lemon square, I was charged $3 for that impermeable chocolate mousse tart with the petrified cherry on top? -least favorite unedible item out of everything I tried, it was gross. Next time I will be more vigilant. Probably no next time, unless I wanted rolls....The first time I tried this bakery they were under construction. Well, the construction is over and this is what I think; Walking in, the bakery wasn't as fancy as others and everything I tried was strange ie: color, texture, freshnessThe woman behind the counter was very nice. This is a Portuguese bakery, and I was charged incorrectly, and unaware that the only thing you should ever buy from here are the Portuguese rolls.
May 05 · LynnP.Adorable Portuguese bakery! The pasteis de nata were delicious! The owner was very friendly and helpful! 100% recommend.
June 21 · Tauna TInteresting mix of reviews here. Our experience was tremendous. It appeared to our untrained (?) eyes that everything looked fresh made there (or somewhere close). Service was very friendly and the fact that it’s open all day into the evening is wonderful. Our pudding filled sweet bread roll was out of the world. Wish we lived nearby!
