The owner was NOT welcoming, friendly, or polite. All she wanted was our money and handed out dirty looks throughout our visit.The bread was not that bad, it's not as good as Mexican sweet bread (pan dulce) but it has a pleasant sweetness to it. It's a "bakery'" with not too many options and bagged mayo? Unfortunately, the service left a bad taste in my mouth that affected my overall experience.Also, the inside is giving swap-meet/old lady's house, it needs a remodel.

I was greeted with a smile by the lady and the Man in the back that bakes the Pan. I found them very polite in helpful I purposely asked Lady a bunch of questions to see how she would react she answer every single question in a professional and kind manner. The bread is very good has the authentic Guatemalan flavor especially the pan tostado. I see people here talking about not having a good flavor such as Mexican bread you can't compare the two because it's two different cultures and it's two different flavors what I suspect happening here is that she can tell who is Guatemalan and who isn't and she's afraid that they won't like the bread and come here and post a review about it I think that's exactly what's going on here so probably out of fear she gets nervous or what have you but I had a wonderful experience she also has a bunch of Guatemalan products such a sueros Jugos Ect. This is definitely my new bakery. I wish they served coffee to have coffee there with pan the place is large enough to accommodate a few tables and sell coffee and eat there the pan. Coming back definitely to support this missed understood Gramps that are still working at their age.

My hubby is from Guatemala and this is our go to panadería for our sweet bread when we are in Riverside. Now before anyone judges an employee there just know a lot of people from Guatemala come from really tough childhoods. I can speak for my husband and other guatemalans Ive met and unfortunately that gives them a character thats a little more on the tougher side and just need a little love and healing. So just try to be understanding of anyone who works here that might seem a little salty. Everytime I have been here I have never had a bad experience. Not all places will go above and beyond for you because maybe they don't know how but this place does there job and gives the bestestestest fresh guatemalan pan dulce you can find. May God bless the Señora and Señor here and may there little panaderia keep prospering ♥️

I'd rather travel to Anaheim for the better service and same great bread.I am Guatemalan. I understand what she says in Spanish or dialect. July 15 · PixelI parked my car in their driveway before buying a pastry. I then went to library as parking is scarce around there. I came back and my car was keyed. I asked if they saw anything, they said no and began to defend themselves. The husband said that I deserve it. So regardless of who did it (probably them but I don’t want to point fingers) they think that vandalism on their property is ok. Do not give them your business. Their bread is mediocre anyway.
