Two Brothers Bakery has, in the past, been a go-to for many, especially for their Haitian patties. As one customer reminisced, "I used to love this place couple years ago when their Haitian patties were flavorful, well-filled, and truly represented authentic taste." This speaks to a history of quality and a strong reputation for delivering genuinely authentic flavors. For New Jersey residents who appreciate traditional recipes, the ability to find a local bakery that once excelled in such specific items is a significant draw, highlighting the potential for what the bakery can offer when at its best.
However, recent customer feedback suggests that the bakery might be facing challenges in maintaining the consistent quality that once defined it. The same customer continued, "Unfortunately, things have gone downhill. Now, the patties lack flavor and feel empty inside, what’s the point if there’s barely anything inside? They really need to step up their game and bring back the quality they once had. If they keep this up, they’re going to lose a lot of loyal customers. Shame on you, this place can do better than this." Another review echoed this sentiment: "What I didn’t like about the quality of their patties here is that their Haitian Patties did not have much meat in them the first time I tried them and unfortunately today after eating a chicken and fish patty. The same issue exists." These candid observations highlight a need for improvement in the core product that many customers seek out. For New Jersey locals, this transparency is crucial in setting expectations and encouraging the bakery to revisit its standards to regain its former standing.
Despite these recent concerns regarding the patties, it's worth noting that the bakery offers more than just one item. The customer review also stated, "I like that they have other options of Haitian baked goods and snacks." This indicates a broader selection beyond the specific patty issues, which could still appeal to those exploring Haitian cuisine or looking for different types of baked goods and quick bites. The hope from loyal patrons is clear: that Two Brothers Bakery will address these quality concerns and return to the high standards they once set, continuing to be a cherished part of Elizabeth's diverse culinary scene.

February 14 · Celita JosephSince it’s been months since I first visited this establishment and I was hungry so today I decided to give this Haitian Bakery another try. What I didn’t like about the quality of their patties here is that their Haitian Patties did not have much meat in them the first time I tried them and unfortunately today after eating a chicken and fish patty. The same issue exists. I’ve eaten Haitian Pattie’s from Haiti, Florida & New York. So I would like to think I have a decent knowledge on what they should taste like. This is an easy fix. Hopefully one day I’ll try in the future and it improves. I like that they have other options of Haitian baked goods and snacks.
September 06 · Suzy ETwo Brothers Bakery/restaurant in Elizabeth, NJ was a delightful surprise. I went in for a some patties and ended up leaving with a bag full of goodies! The lady at the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful, which is a refreshing change from some Haitian restaurants I've been to.The patties tho! These were some of the best I've had – perfectly fluffy, full with flavor, and absolutely delicious. Reminds me of the patties from the late 90s in Haiti. If you're a fan of savory pastries, Two Brothers Bakery is a must-visit.Overall, the experience was so positive that I'll definitely be back next time I'm in North Jersey. Two Brothers Bakery is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise!

January 04 · DjOyeah TvHaiti people never fail to disappoint & I don't know why they refuse to say NO when they don't know how to do something. I ordered 4 dozen of cornet, the cornet itself & the meat were dried and tasteless & there was little to no meat in the cornet itself. I paid $100 for them. If you're gonna charge that much for stuff, make sure you deliver.
