101 bagel Cafe Introduce
For residents across Marietta and the East Cobb area looking to start their day right, the search for a truly satisfying breakfast often leads to the comforting scent of freshly baked bread. While the local dining scene is competitive, one name that has carved out a niche with a focus on New York-style bagel tradition and an extensive all-day menu is 101 Bagel Cafe. This establishment, known for going "Beyond the Bagel," offers more than just a morning pastry—it provides a comprehensive menu of deli classics, signature sandwiches, and coffee, all crafted to be free of artificial flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives.
The concept behind 101 Bagel Cafe is simple: deliver high-quality, fresh-baked goods and delicious, filling meals in a casual, friendly atmosphere. For years, Georgia locals have come to know this spot as a go-to for their daily bagel fix, whether they prefer a simple schmear of cream cheese or a hearty breakfast sandwich loaded with eggs and meat. The reputation is built on consistency and a dedication to variety, ensuring there is a perfect meal for every kind of craving, any time of the morning.
While the Marietta location at 4811 Lower Roswell Rd. faced a closure after a few years of operation—a testament to the challenging nature of the East Cobb market—the brand continues its commitment to customers across the larger metropolitan area. Nevertheless, the menu and commitment to service from the 101 Bagel Cafe brand remain a relevant topic for Georgia food enthusiasts who value a fresh, hearty start to their day. This article will focus on the wide-ranging food offerings that locals still seek out at other operating locations and through their online channels, carrying on the spirit of the brand in the Georgia market.
The heart of any great bagel shop is its selection, and 101 Bagel Cafe does not disappoint. Their list of fresh bagel types is extensive, ranging from the classic Plain, Whole Wheat, and Sesame to more adventurous options like Everything, Whole Wheat Everything, Rainbow, and specialty choices such as Asiago, Jalapeño Cheddar, and Russian. This variety ensures that every customer, from the traditionalist to the flavor adventurer, can find their ideal base for their perfect meal.
The offerings extend far beyond just the bagels. The menu is designed to cater to a full day's worth of cravings, providing numerous choices across various categories. For those seeking a classic deli experience, the cafe features signature items like the "Sliced Nova" bagel, which includes smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, red onion, and capers—a favorite among regulars. Other deli options include classic sandwiches like the Reuben or Rachel (featuring corned beef or pastrami), Tuna or Chicken Salad, and the 101 Club with turkey, ham, bacon, and cheddar. Whether customers are looking for a quick bite or a satisfying lunch, the menu is built to accommodate.

What is Worth Choosing
For local patrons in Georgia, 101 Bagel Cafe, through its overall brand offerings, presents a compelling alternative to standard quick-service breakfast options. The core reason to choose this establishment is the emphasis on fresh baking and extensive customization. Customers have the freedom to select from over a dozen bagel types and numerous spreads, creating a truly personalized morning meal.
A notable item is the classic 'Sliced Nova' bagel, often hailed in customer comments as a standout, providing a high-quality deli experience that's hard to find locally. Furthermore, the commitment to serving breakfast all day, a crucial convenience for those who miss traditional morning hours, makes it a valuable spot. While one customer noted the price point as being high compared to other markets, the premium quality of a fresh, hand-crafted sandwich, especially one made with fresh ingredients and generous portions of items like smoked salmon or egg whites and avocado, is generally what diners are paying for in a competitive metro Atlanta market like East Cobb. The dedication of the staff, as highlighted in one review—where attention to detail was shown by repeating an order to ensure accuracy—speaks to a positive customer service experience.
In conclusion, 101 Bagel Cafe is an appealing choice for Georgia residents seeking a robust, high-quality, and varied menu for their morning or midday meal. Whether it’s for a quick takeout order or a sit-down meal, the variety of freshly baked bagels, expansive breakfast and deli options, and convenient service features establish the brand as a strong local choice in the Atlanta-Marietta food scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Like many of us, road-warriors, the crave hits you at a stoplight and you are really wanting a yummy toasted bagel sandwich. Which is what I was on the hunt for before my Friday started. Decided to hit this place versus Goldberg’s up the street And the place was a bit dingy. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Ordered and everything bagel with egg white and avocado and was a fairly quick order. Was shocked to see my walk out the door price was almost $15 including tip. The bagel sandwich was fairly decent, but felt the everything had too much salt on it. Nevertheless, it was an OK experience, but not giving it four stars because the price was so expensive. I’ve had much better bagel sandwiches in New York that were twice the size and 1/2 the price - but who’s counting. This is East Cobb and you get what you get I guess.UPDATE: I’ve added my review for Goldberg’s up Johnson Ferry for comparison.
January 11 · Peter BrusaComing to this location it was amazing. Greeted by everyone and the staff were very attentive when taking my order. The lady at the register even repeated my order to make sure it is what I ordered. From the process of ordering my food and receiving it, I can see that they dedicated and made sure the food is right. Even with abit of rush hour, the staff still made sure to get to everyone equally. I would definitely come back to this location for my favorite smoke salmon bagel!! Thank you cafe bagel team here in Roswell!! See y’all again!!
June 16 · John TsengAll right let's start with the least important thing here, atmosphere looks like somebody opened up a place and didn't have any money for any furniture so there's two tables one booth definitely designed to not encourage people to hang around. Now let's get to the important thing. I have been to several of these locations. I used to enjoy the one on Cobb parkway. I've visited this location 3 times and when I'm hungry for a lox bagel I tend to forget previous disappointing experiences. So, this morning I stopped in with a friend and order a Nova Lox everything toasted all the way extra capers. When I'm spending the price that they charge for a Lox everything bagel all the way toasted it should come out looking like the picture with a reasonable but not heaping mound of cream cheese on both slices, thinly sliced purple onion, thinly sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced smoked salmon, a fresh firm but soft bagel...But everything on this thing was so chunky🥺I can't even bite through it.The bagel was hard...like really hard, the Nova lox is thick instead of thinly sliced the onions are big chunks, the tomatoes are nearly 1/4 inch thick. There's no way to neatly eat this and it's so hard I can't even use a knife and fork to cut the bread.I I don't plan on coming back, there are other great options in the area. Just be aware that best this place is inconsistent.
August 29 · M MyersAlright, here we go again. I posted a lengthy review last time and the owner apologized and made it right. Tried to give this place another chance after multiple screw ups. First off, they were out of multiple bagels at 9a. They were out of egg whites, there was an issue with the avocados (the main reason my wife wanted to come). Last time we came they were out of hummus. Anyway, ordered a bagel with cream cheese, son ordered a bagel sliced, not toasted(simple right?). 20 minutes later, my bagel comes out with barely any cream cheese and not toasted. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the lady at the front was nice. They honestly should have refunded the whole order, and given gift cards for how poor the experience was. I tried to give this place about 5 chances. No more. We are done. Best of luck, unfortunately they need it.
July 29 · BrianI used to go to the 101 near Cumberland but then this one opened nearer to home so I started to go here. However the bagels at this location are inferior. For whatever reason (deliberate or accidental) the bagels are always over-baked in my opinion. Here is a photo of the plain bagels I purchased this morning. Too brown on top and hard and crispy. I wish they would fix this and make softer bagels so I can choose whether to eat untoasted or toasted!
