★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I don't know if this place has been bought out and has a new owner OR if the current owner has lost their mind. I have been coming here for as long as this bakery has existed. I live 3 blocks away. This place has the best croquetas, pastelitos and empanada's. I usually go in the morning's and get a croissant with ham and cheese along with some empanada's or pastelitos de carne to go. For as long as this place has existed the croissant with ham and cheese was $6.99. It was a huge croissant packed to the brim with ham and cheese. It took up almost the entire space of the food carton. You don't have to take my word for it, you'll see it and the pricing within the photos people have uploaded. I went on Saturday 6/14/25 and ordered the usual. My croissant and some meat pastelitos. The grand total was a little over $15. I didn't think much about it paid and went on my way home. Driving away in the malls parking lot, something bothered me and I started to realize that $15 was way too much. I also realized the bag weighed significantly less than normal. I stopped, pulled into an empty spot and opened the carton. I was instantly shocked at what I saw. Inside the carton sat a croissant, half the size it normally was, with a single slice of ham and cheese, and when I looked at the receipt, I realized that they charged me over $10 for this thing. I was outraged to say the least. I went back and I felt bad for the employees because you can tell they knew exactly why I was back. In fact the girl was so ashamed that she added an extra slice of ham as recompence. I did not ask to return it but I let them know that this was highway robbery and the said they would let the owner know. I have uploaded a picture of the croissant I was given so that you can compare with the other pictures. (for clarification, this picture was taken AFTER the girl added 1 slice of ham) Hopefully this get's back to the owner because I will probably never come back here if THIS is their new standard.
June 16 · Robert FundoraHits the spot for Cuban coffee! Place is small but cozy, clean and the breakfast is delicious! Young lady at the front is very sweet, quick, diligent and hospitable. Definitely a local small business worth supporting. Food modifications are available so, take it from me, ditch Starbucks and drop by if you’re around, I’m sure you’ll be satisfied.
July 02 · Amy GonzalezI left the Service and Atmosphere blank, as I ordered delivery.I ordered two croqueta preparadas and two French toast.1. The croqueta preparada on the menu picture has mustard and pickles. The ones I received did not.2. One of the croqueta preparadas was supposed to have cheese croquetas…I received chicken croquetas instead.3. I received 2 waffles instead of French toast. The waffles were cold and partly frozen, as they were hard.
June 09 · Ren HernandezRegardless of the people working there they’re always kind and welcoming. Food is great and fairly priced!
January 18 · Luis ZequeiraBy far the best bakery I’ve ever been to. The food was surprisingly amazing. The pastel de carne was unbelievably flaky and tasteful. The black beans were soft and ground beef were perfect and both had just the right amount of seasoning. Most bakery’s put a ton of salt to compensate for the lack of or too much seasoning but not this bakery. Cleaned my plate in 5 minutes or less! Would love to come again!
