I’ve lived in Indiana, Washington DC, Seattle, and now Chicago - and I can say without hesitation that this is the best bagel spot I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting regularly. What makes it so special? Two amazing people: Mari and Sol.I’ve ordered from this Einstein location almost every single week since moving to Chicago. Whether it’s my Signature Egg Sandwich or a free large iced coffee via the mobile app, the experience is always seamless. Mari and Sol not only get my order right, but they go above and beyond - like the time they slipped in a cookie when my usual bagel wasn’t available, or when they wrote my name on the bag in a fun, personalized font that genuinely made my day.In a city as big and fast-paced as Chicago, they’ve created a real sense of community, making it feel a little more like home. Their kindness, speed, and attention to detail rival Chick-fil-A - which is saying something. My orders are always ready in 5-10 minutes, and I’ve never once had to wait or worry.Einstein Bros. is lucky to have them and so is this neighborhood! Don’t order from this location! The lady who answered the phone was being so difficult for no reason!!! I ordered a sandwich through GrubHub and we noticed that we wasn’t able to take off a sauce that’s added on the sandwich. So I call this location to let them know that one of the sandwiches we don’t want the sauce on because it’s for a child. It came with like a Sriracha sauce. She answered the phone and was being all “Karen-like” and saying she can’t do it and if she change it for me, she will have to change it for everybody and it is what it is — really sarcastically and not nice at all.So clearly, this is the issue that they’re having and I don’t understand why they can’t fix it. Change it or just have good customer service and explain nicely! She was rude and lacked tact.Then, I realized that I called the wrong location. So, I went ahead and called the other location that’s located on 30 N. LaSalle. The ladies there were so accommodating and nice and trying to help me with the issue I have with the sauce. They located my order, but were unable to change it because it was already made. That makes sense because it was done and I totally get that! I thanked them for being so nice, helpful and having good customer service and even attempting to do it.If you’re having an amazing day and want to keep it amazing, please don’t go to this location!

first time trying out einstein bros and WOW! i never had such an amazing bagel sandwich until i tried this one. got a bacon egg & cheese on a cheddar and jalapeño bagel with a small iced coffee, the combo was perfect. very busy, great atmosphere, friendly workers as well. all you can ask for at a lunch/breakfast fast food spot.
