★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This pudding spot wasn’t even on my list—I stumbled across it while transferring from DC to New York and saw the store in the waiting hall. I thought, why not give it a try?I went for the strawberry flavor, and it totally hit the spot—light, fluffy, and creamy without being overly sweet. Exactly what I needed. To keep things guilt-free, we shared a small one, and honestly, it was the perfect treat. If you’ve got a sweet tooth every now and then, I’d definitely recommend giving this a go!
June 25 · Wei H (IG:whe021)There is typically far less of a line here than the other locations and service is pretty quick. There isn’t really any area to eat in the store but you can eat in the food court. We got the banana pudding, which was very light in banana flavor. It’s pricey for what looks like a small portion but it’s somewhat filling. I don’t it care for Magnolia bakery but for people who like this chain they should stop by this location for less of a line.
February 08 · Jaye Aster BroderCalm little store with a good selection of pastries. Enjoyed my chocolate hazelnut brownie which I thought tasted better than their banana pudding that they are known for.
July 12 · Theodore WuMagnolia Bakery has a great selection of cheesecakes—I tried the raspberry one, and it was absolutely perfect. Creamy, fruity, and just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere, though, could be more welcoming. It feels a bit rushed and impersonal, so there’s definitely room to improve on that side. Still, for the dessert alone, it’s worth a quick stop.
May 05 · TiborPenn Station location. I usually LOVE the banana pudding. Purchased two original pints and was very disappointed when I got home. It was mostly vanilla wafers with a limited amount of pudding and NO bananas to be found. I would have given them $20 (the price for two was $17.50) to find the bananas in both pints! Very very dry and not worth it. The bakers there need to update this recipe. I’ll make my own.
