★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Delicious pastéis de nata at the Ballard Farmers Market. My favorites are easily the strawberry and the dark chocolate. They also serve a really good focaccia!
August 25 · Kyle CooleyI'm not a fan of tarts but this one, I will eat any day. I tried the original nata at the Queen Anne Farmers Market and the taste was absolutely delicious! A must try for everyone! 😋
September 10 · Meenakshi Bose5 stars cause I don’t wanna hurt a business BUT I got two original pastel de natas at the Saturday market and they’re some of the worst I’ve had in the US or Portugal. The dough wasn’t flaky and was very chewy/ hard to bite a piece off. The custard was so sweet I couldn’t taste anything but sugar. And the texture was granular. Maybe undercooked too. The rest of the reviews say they’re excellent and the founder/chef is Portuguese so I’m hoping I got a bad batch. I’ve spent a lot of time all over Portugal mainland and the azores and the pastel de natas were never overly sweet, pastry was always flaky, and the top of the custard was browned nicely which added flavor. I’ll try them again some other time but I was bummed to spend $8 dollars on two sugar pies.
August 23 · Tessa Pargiter-HatemBest Pastel de Nata in the Seattle area. Just as good as ones in Lisbon 🔥
July 01 · elmaestroI have visited Portugal dozens of times and these are the best pasteis de nata I have ever eaten outside of Belém, quite possibly the best period. They are exceptional. They were half gone before we got out of the parking lot.
