What is Worth Choosing
For Minnesotans seeking a quality dining experience, choosing Turtle Bread Company is a vote for supporting a local institution known for its unwavering quality and community presence. The single most compelling reason to choose this establishment is the unparalleled combination of a high-quality, on-site artisan bakery and a full-service café menu. Most bakeries only sell bread; Turtle Bread Company uses their fresh-baked bread as the foundation for an entire restaurant menu.
It is worth choosing for the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie alone, a seasonal delight that speaks to the bakery’s commitment to fresh ingredients. It is worth choosing for the daily ritual of pairing an outstanding coffee with an oven-fresh pastry, or indulging in a hearty Ham Cheese Omelette. It's a place where the fresh, intoxicating aromas contribute as much to the dining experience as the food itself. This is a rare quality in the fast-paced food world—the feeling that "you almost feel as if you're eating at home."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Good seating options. Very sturdy chairs. I like the common tables that are longer that multiple parties can sit at. Really good strawberry rhubarb pie, made a good companion for my mushroom frittata and coffee for breakfast. Pretty loud inside, recommend earplugs for less noise intensity. They do have a bathroom.
September 06 · A LodahlI went there for lunch with my son and it was a pleasant experience. I had the Bigata salad with a cup of chicken and wild rice soup, and my son had the "turtle" omelet with a Chai latte. The variety of breads that they offer are made right there in their on-site bakery, and you almost feel as if you're eating at home with all of the fresh smells of their food and breads that have been freshly baked. Wow! A feast for the nostrils as well as the palate!!! When I return to Minneapolis I'll most definitely visit there again for a wonderful meal
March 23 · Joe KuprisTurtle Bread is a fantastic spot for all things baked and brewed. Their bakery offers a great selection of fresh bread and pastries, paired perfectly with a solid cup of coffee. The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Conveniently located next to Bagel Pizza, it's the ideal place for brunch, breakfast, or just a casual meet-up. Definitely a cozy and friendly spot to stop by any time of day.
September 29 · The Intercultural TravelerWe enjoy a really tasty breakfast here every time. Lots of options, good coffee, and a great bakery/bread selection. The pancakes were awesome, as well as the omelet. There are lots of tables for seating as well as outdoor tables. It's a pretty big space and great for a group breakfast, and cozy inside!!
November 03 · BaileyFood was excellent. Great omelet with fresh ingredients. Enjoyed the warmth on a frigid Minnesota Sunday morning. Overall a nice coffee shop and great breakfast spot. Biggest kitchen with Tina of flour. This place produces a lot of baked goods. Impressive
