★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Yummy Tummy Kitchen is a must-visit in Brooklyn, NY (Williamsburg)! This Black woman-owned bakery serves up homemade treats that are perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just pure deliciousness.I had the chocolate chip cookie, crisp on the edges, soft in the center, and packed with melty chocolate. The vanilla cupcake with whipped icing was light, moist, and topped with silky, not-too-sweet frosting. The homemade banana pudding was smooth, creamy, and layered with fresh bananas and vanilla wafers—comforting and full of flavor. On top of the amazing treats, the owner, Melissa, was incredibly kind, professional, and very knowledgeable about the products, making the experience even more enjoyable. Every bite was memorable, and best of all, I was left feeling satisfied, not stuffed. If you love high-quality, handcrafted sweets, stop by Yummy Tummy—you won’t regret it!
March 19 · A. O. P.I saw the tiktok video made by the owner and immediately added this place to my must try list. So happy I did!The cupcakes I got were AMAZING. They were light, buttery, soooo soft, and not too sweet (even the cream topping). I can not even stress how much I was impressed with the cupcakes. I went about 45 mins before they closed and was not expecting the quality to be that fresh as if they just made them for me!I am absolutely not a matcha person but the team there talked me into trying the vanilla matcha cupcake and omg! Yes, yes, get the cupcake! It was sooo good. None of the overwhelming bitter flavors you normally get with matcha. This is not a trick to secretly make you try grass, I swear, get the matcha strawberry or vanilla cupcakes, they were both excellent. And to the star of the show....the banana pudding. I got it after another customer in the shop said it was really good. I ordered a tray so that I could share with my family. That was a big mistake. I want to preface this by saying I've had Magnolia's banana pudding and was so disappointed. It was not worth the hype in my opinion so I was skeptical about this one. When I got back to the car, I decided to try the banana pudding before going to my mum's house and regretted it. It was soooo good, I was questioning why I had agreed to share; why had I stupidly already told them I was bringing it. I was strongly considering telling them that they had to go get their own. One bite turned into me taking more bites to "even it out" and before I knew it, a third of the tray was gone. 😭 I didn't even realize I was eating a lot because like the cupcakes, the banana pudding is so light and flavorful and never got to the point of giving me that sticky sweet feeling when you eat too much sugary stuff.I don't know what they put in their recipes here but like the matcha, I don't even like bananas that much and now I'm stressed that this review will have people buying all of it and there won't be any left for me 😭😅Please go support.....but also like save me some....
April 25 · Es ThompsonThe owner reached out to me. Still I wouldn’t recommend this shop. There are just so many things that turned me off from wanting to come back here again.Which is sad because the vanilla cupcakes were just okay, but the banana pudding was good and quite tasty, some of the best I ever had.I think some coaching or courses would do this business well. It’s pretty far out in Bushwick as well. My full review of the shop is on Yelp.
March 24 · Lara LoveDropped by on 5/11/25 to grab something for Mother's Day. Picked up the Banana Pudding.Mom and my sisters right after the first try completely devoured it and raved about it. When food makes people happy that's when you know it's on point. The folks at the place were very friendly, and the place was clean, as expected of a place that handles food. It's crystal clear they are dedicated to their craft.Small businesses like this are the life of the city. They deserve your business and I will absolutely be a repeat customer.Highly recommended. Give'em a go.
May 12 · Gerardo “Densuo” SantanaSeriously, so stinking cute. The owner was so nice and helpful. The shop is small, but there’s a lot of different treats to choose from. I got 4 items, two cupcakes, a little key lime pie and the banana pudding (it’s in a cup). The cupcakes were great, moist and tasty, we have not tried the little pie yet but omg, the banana pudding was exceptional. To the point of writing this review.
