★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1🍞 FoodMary O’s scones hit delightful heights-fluffy, just lightly dense, and perfectly buttery. The homemade butter melts into warm, lightly crisp edges, and the jam-bright, seasonal, and fresh-adds a sweet-tangy pop. These scones are so well balanced you can finish one without guilt (and you’ll want to). Definitely worth heading in early-you’ll often find them sold out by 11 AM.🥤 ServiceThe staff at Mary O’s are warm and welcoming. That kind of friendly interaction makes that early morning drop-in feel extra special.🎨 AmbianceThe shop is cozy and charming, though seating is limited- perfect for a quick indulgence over a latte. It’s not a hangout-for-hours spot, but the snug setting gives it an intimate, neighborhood-bakery vibe.🕒 Tips & Takeaway• Go early - they often sell out before 11 AM.• Come with company - seating is tight• Register those flavors - you’ll be craving more of that butter-jam-scone trifecta soon after.Bottom line: Mary O’s serves up scones that deliver on texture, taste, and freshness, with enough charm and warmth to make the early visit feel completely worth it.
June 28 · AnthonyThis my first time trying scones. I came on a Thursday and the line wasn’t bad at all. I love the warm feeling you get when you walk in here. You can smell the aroma of the scones instantly. I paid around $6. The scone was freshly made. Topped with the blackberry jam and Irish butter. It’s 100% worth the try. Service was good shout out to the staff and they do a good job at making sure the wait isn’t too long.
May 11 · Jeffrey GomezI love Mary O''s. They do one thing, make Irish Soda Bread Scones and they do it well! The lines on weekdays are tolerable, very long on weekends...they make em', bake em', and sell em' all morning. The wait can be long if you are there in-between bakes. But you are rewarded with a buttery, tender, not too sweet, magnificent scone with crunchy craggly bits on the outside, . The scone comes with a generous pat of Irish butter and homemade blackberry preserves. Delicious. Cute shop, lots to look at while you wait in line, lol. Nice folks. There is limited seating inside and a bench outside, really it's a takeaway.
April 23 · Debbie Lowe (3jamigos)For people commenting about the wait time, what can I say: it’s a really popular place because they’re really good at soda bread. I came a few times closer to noon and discovered that they were sold out. And then I did the grownup thing to do if I really wanted that soda bread: I woke up early and got that bread. At 7:30 am on a Sunday, I found zero wait and the soda bread of my dreams (as well as a superb cold brew). Normally, berry jam is at the bottom of my preference list, but this might have honestly been the best jam I’ve ever had. It’s like a berry jam that comes as close to the inside of a berry cobbler while still being a jam. I lived in northern England for a while and this just felt like such a burst of Britain in your mouth. The scone had a crispy top like a muffin top almost and they’re served warm!
July 20 · Katherine SpindlerFinally made it to the much-anticipated Mary O’s—and it did not disappoint. Hands down the BEST scone I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. The scone itself wasn’t sweet, but paired with the jam and butter, it was a perfect flavor balance. I only wish this place was in my neighborhood!
